SHBG Blood test measures the levels of SHBG in your blood. SHBG is a protein that’s produced by the Liver; it binds tightly to the hormones Testosterone, DHT (dihydrotestosterone) & Oestradiol and Oestrogen and transports them in the blood in an inactive form.

SHBG can also affect your Underactive or Overactive Thyroid, Liver diseases, obesity and anticonvulsant drugs.
